Plan for Shoot - Editorial

For this shoot, I wanted my model in the bath tub to create a bloody water effect. I am going to use my aunties new free-standing bath, making it easier for me to walk round all angles to take photos. I would have liked to have used red food colouring but my auntie wouldn't let me in her new bath. This would mean that I would have to photoshop it red which is probably quite hard to get it natural looking.

Makeup and Hair:
  • Brush belt – foundation, powder, eye shadow, angled, lip brushes etc.
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Hair brush
  • Simple moisturiser
  • Smashox Photo finish primer
  • Kryolan Ultra Foundation
  • MAC eyeshadow palette
  • Collection eyeliner
  • Max Factor mascara
  • MAC false lashes
  • Smashbox contour palette
  • The Balm Mary lou Manizer highlighter

Hair to be left natural as will be underwater.

Equipment:

  • Canon 550d
  • 100ml lens
  • Tripod
  • Torch
  • Roses and gerberas
  • Towelling robe

Set up:

I will have my model laid in a bath full of warm water. I want to shoot her head above the water, so will be focusing mainly on her face, especially the rose petal lips. Having a free standing bath will allow me access around the model to shoot her from all angles. I was unable to take out a light from uni so am relying on the camera flash to do a good job if not the torch should help.
