Makeup Practice: Catwalk Look

(Practice night before practice session in lesson)

LIPS AND LINER

SHOOTING

EVALUATION

I wasn't happy with the liner, I don't think it suited her eye shape and I did it too low down. After speaking to Kat, we decided that it wasn't right for my look and so I decided to scrap the idea. I practiced on myself and my model afterwards.

 FIRST LOOK

I wanted to stick with the blue eyed theme as not only is this a popular SS16 trend, it is also one of Ellis Faas' human colours. I blended the liner out to create a soft blended eye but I don't like the way it looks. Time to try again!

THIRD LOOK

I decided to do a cut crease style makeup, similar to the one I did in Fenella's eyes and liner class. I like these as it changes the eye shape and gives the appearance of wearing eyeshadow by only being in the corners. This is my favourite design and it suits my models eye shape, so I will be creating this look for my timed assessment.

(This is what happens when you want to test out your new Ellis Faas Creamy Eyes pen and draw all over your models face)
