ELLIS EYES

LIGHTS
Ellis created Lights that are much more than just highlighters. Although liquid, they dry upon application to create the illusion of metallic eyes. The texture appears moist whilst being perfectly dry with a smooth finish, so you wont feel any stickiness and you'll avoid those pesky eyelid creases. The Lights are also great to use in combination with the Creamy Eyes. Available in 5 shades.

PACKAGING
All products (excluding the foundation bottle) are packaged in bullet shape click pens and additional accessories are designed to go with this such as the Ellis Holder and Clips. The reason behind this idea was Ellis could never find her makeup in her handbag so she invented these shape pens so they could be found easily. The award-winning Ellis Holder allows you to choose which products you want in there so they can all be stored in one place. The clips can connect any amount of pens and can be easily rolled up without disconnecting the chain. Again, a great way to find and easily store her products.
ELLIS HOLDER
As a professional makeup artist, Ellis keeps her makeup kits meticulously organised. But, as for many of the rest of us, her handbag was a jumble of her favourite products - just finding the lipstick she was looking for took longer than applying it. When Ellis first envisioned her own brand of makeup, she vowed to solve this "handbag jumble". Her solution is now two-fold: The Ellis Holder and the Ellis Clips.
With the award-winning Ellis Holder, you are the one in charge: when you buy it the hOLDER IS empty leaving it up to you to mix and match. You are the one choosing the products that reflect your mood or suit the occasion, and you're good to go with a customised kit filled with your choice of colours and products to do a complete look. You can also twist the bottom which allows each product to pop up, making it easier for you to take the product out.

ELLIS CLIPS
The second portable solution that Ellis invented are the Ellis Clips. The Clips can connect any amount of our signature pens - from two to as many as you like. The concept is brilliant in its simplicity: just connect the clips to each other and slide in the pens. You can roll them up and take out just the pen you want to use without disconnecting the chain.
ELLIS CASE
The Ellis Case has been designed to contain the Compact Powder refills and its sponge. Just put the powder godet into the case and a light magnet holds it in place. When it's empty, it can easily be taken out and replaced by a new one. The top part of the case has a built-in mirror.
PRESENTATION
Although Ellis Faas is available to order on most websites, Fortnum and Mason is the only department store in London with a counter to test and buy products. On my visit to London, I noticed how small yet compact the counter was. It seemed to be like a giant container/holder full of all her products in different sections. It was neatly presented and everything had its place, from eyes to lips to skin products, making it easy for the customer to browse. It also mimicked the layout of her website, how everything was in order and was easy to find.
PROMOTION
Ellis doesn't really advertise her brand like others do through magazines and tv adverts, she does it through creating short films and videos. She works with different magazines and for catwalks etc. She is always promoting her work through her website and on social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. She uploads videos, face charts, her previous and current work/projects she is done/doing.
When viewing one product on the website, there will be links to other products to buy that will compliment them. For example, when you click on a foundation it will have links to a concealer and powder products. It is a clever way of promoting and getting people to additionally purchase other products.
PRICE POINT
Personally, I find Ellis Faas reasonably priced when compared with other high end brands on the market. However for the price you do pay, I think there should be more perks or the customers such as loyalty cards or discount if you spend a certain amount etc.
The most expensive is the Skin Veil Foundation 30ml bottle at £55, and the cheapest being £17 for the compact powder. Some may find this expensive compared to high street brands but I would class this brand as high-end making it fairly priced with competitors. The most popular products are the lipsticks and eyeshadows which range at £23-£26.
